We have been rescuing dogs since Feb 07 and so far have placed 80 dogs and 10 cats. we are working off of public donations and soon hope to get our 501 c 3. There are a lot of unfixed animals in this area because the vets are too expensive for some people. We hope to bring in a spay/neuter clinic this spring and be able to make the numbers of animals in Valley county manageable.

Our group has NO shelter of its own. All dogs are boarded at a veterinary hospital that has kennel facilities. We pay $10/day to board each animal that we have, as well as the fees for the medical care. We are supported soley through the tax-deductible do.

What Next Farm is an Australian cattle dog breeding and rescue facility in Central Florida. Most of the dogs are rescued from local kill shelters in an effort to place them in new permanent and loving homes.

For whatever reason, black dogs don't adopt well in shelters. They are often over looked, even though they may be well behaved and friendly, simply for the reason that they are black.
